RM Photography – Terms & Conditions

1. Definitions

  • “Photographer” refers to RM Photography - Ryan Mitchell

  • “Client” refers to the person(s) booking the services.

  • “Images” refers to all photographic material created by the Photographer.

2. Booking & Payment

  • A non-refundable booking fee of £50 is required to secure the date.

  • The remaining balance is due 7 days after the shoot, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of the booking fee and a signed contract.

3. Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • If the Client cancels less than 72hrs before the shoot, the booking fee is retained.

  • The Photographer will make every effort to reschedule in the event of illness, extreme weather, or unforeseen circumstances.

4. Copyright & Usage

  • All Images remain the copyright of RM Photography.

  • The Client is granted a personal licence to use the Images for non-commercial purposes (printing, sharing online, personal keepsakes).

  • Commercial use (advertising, resale, promotion by third parties) requires a separate agreement/licence.

  • The Photographer retains the right to use Images for portfolio, website, social media, and marketing unless the Client requests otherwise in writing. this will be discussed before and after the session.

5. Image Delivery

  • Preview galleries will be available within 14 days after the shoot.

  • Final high-resolution edited images will be delivered within 14days

  • RAW files are not supplied unless agreed in advance.

  • Printed images are from a third party company from the gallery, RMphotography has no liability of loss/damage of prints.

6. Artistic Style

  • The Client acknowledges familiarity with the Photographer’s style and accepts that editing and composition are at the Photographer’s artistic discretion.

  • Minor adjustments will be made as part of the editing process; extensive retouching may incur an additional charge.

7. Liability

  • In the unlikely event of total photographic failure, liability is limited to a full refund of payments received.

  • The Photographer is not liable for indirect loss or consequential damages.

  • The Photographer holds full public liability insurance.

8. Force Majeure

  • The Photographer is not liable for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond reasonable control (e.g. extreme weather, accidents, strikes).

9. Data Protection

  • Client details are stored securely and will not be shared with third parties, except as required by law and safeguard requirements.

10. Governing Law

  • These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
